All the general questions you may have, has been answered over here. Please go throught these to get a better understanding of our system and its related features and terms.

• What are the procedure of payment?

  You can make a payment online, using your credit , debit or net banking. You have option to make payment through cheque/DD drawn in favour of Micro Genetix . You can either send cheque /DD to our address or drop it in any nearby HDFC branch . While making payment through cheque or DD kindly make sure to write our Ac. no. 03492560001155 on the back of the cheque. You can then send us scanned copy of the cheque /DD along with you ACES Registration Number and username for mannual activasion of your account.

• Is there any way, that the data will fill automatically in the excel sheet?

  There is no way that data will be filled automatically unless your accounting package has the abality to export reports as Excel file. There are report module in various accounting package which are basically pre-set program to fetch data from database. If you have such an accounting package, you can export the data in Excel file and then upload that file with some minmum modification. If you don't have such a package, then you have to enter the data manually. We do not provide any data-entry service.

• If we forget the password, then what to do?

  Right now there is no such system in place so that you can reset your password so you need to write to support to reset it giving your username and ACES Registration No.

• How to upload the files in aces.gov.in?

  There is a upload module in aces.gov.in . After login you need to go to RET menu and access upload module from efiling submenu.

• What is CETSH-NUMBER?

  Cetsh-number is the chapter id. All the commodities are given a chapter id internataionally. This chapter id is a offshoot of HSN (Harmosied system of Nomenclature) recongnised internationally.

• From where we will get CETSH-NUMBER?

  All the assesee during regsitraion with central excise depart has to declare their product chapter id . There are books available in the market and even in ACES site there is complete list of commodities with their respective chaper ids.

• What is the amount of duty involved?

  Its is the central excise duty + secondary cess + higher secondary cess.

• What is issued-by?

  Issued-by is the importer, dealer or manufacturer.

• How it is better than the excise department?

  Departmental package has no such system to convert any excel to validated xml file. Error capturing mechanism is also much better that the department. While the returns which are rejected by the department package, does not specify where exactly the errors is located, but our system does that.

• What are the benefits of aces-efiling.in?

  Aces-eFiling.in has the following benifits. if you have a huge no of invoices you have to go for xml schema implementation as you can not submit your return using the online return entry module available in departmental aces site. This is the reason CBEC has already made available the scheme at their site and given the specification to be followed. With our system you don't have to go through the cumbersome process the return entry as our system will take the data from your excel sheet generate by any package. Our error deletecting and validation system cleanse your data so much that there is pracically no chance your return being rejected

• what are the differences between the excise department and aces-efiling?

  ACES-eFiling.in offers a system which help basically in online conversion and creating of valid xml files ready to be uploaded to the departmental site ie, www.aces.gov.in. You have to file your return in this govt site only. We just prepare your xml return file and once you download the xml file, our jot is done. You need to then log in to the departmental site ie, www.aces.gov.in, and upload the gerated XML file.

• Where is ER1 and ER2 ? I don't see an option in my account to add them

  We are currently working on ER1 and ER2. We will launch it soon. Once it is launched, all registered accounts will have the abality to add ER1 and ER2 along with DLR.

• I have a question which is not answered over here. What should i do?
